Address and sign-in
Add this address to your AI app as a custom connector or MCP server. The app sends you to noombat to sign in and pick a board.
- Transport: streamable HTTP (the Model Context Protocol's own).
- Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You sign in with your noombat account, pick one board and choose Allow. A connection lasts up to 90 days.
- Code tools: a personal key in the header Authorization: Bearer nbk_…, made under Settings, API & AI apps. A key lives 30 or 90 days, or never where your organization allows it.
- One board per connection or key. Every tool reads; none sends a message or writes to a board or a CRM.
- Limits per connection or key: 20 requests a second, 600 a minute, 100,000 a day.
The tools
10 tools, every one read only. This list comes from the catalog the server itself answers with.
- board_overview (Board overview): What the board holds: how many companies sit in each group, the board's own words, and when it was last read.
- search (Search the board): Finds a company, person or competitor on the board by name or web domain.
- fetch (Fetch a record): Returns one company, person or competitor as a readable record with a link.
- search_companies (Search companies): Lists the companies in the order to work them, filtered by name, group or reason if you like.
- get_company (Get a company): One company's file: its profile, Priority and the dated reasons behind it, the people there and who can introduce you.
- list_people (List people): The people at the board's companies, in order, with their part in the buying decision.
- get_person (Get a person): One person: business title, their part in the decision, who can introduce you, and a link to their public profile.
- list_signals (List signals): Dated public events about the companies, newest first, each with a link to its source.
- list_competitors (List competitors): The competitors on the board, with how hard each one presses on your buyers and how you win.
- get_competitor (Get a competitor): One competitor: what they sell, where they are in place, their latest move and how you win.
Which apps
Any app that speaks MCP over HTTP can connect. How to connect each one:
- Claude, on claude.ai and the desktop and phone apps: add a custom connector and sign in
- ChatGPT: add a custom MCP server and sign in, or install noombat from the plugin directory once it is listed there
- Codex: from the plugin directory ChatGPT and Codex share, once noombat is listed there
- Claude Code: the command above, then /mcp to sign in in the browser, or a personal key as a header
- Cursor and VS Code: a personal key as a header
The sample board
Anyone signed in to noombat with a confirmed e-mail address can connect the sample board: 30 made-up companies of a made-up seller, Ordenvale, with their people, dated signals and four rivals. Pick it when you sign in. Nothing on it is about a real company or person.
Access to your own boards is switched on per workspace. Ask your noombat admin, or write to hello@noombat.ai.
Data, privacy and control
The app receives only what a question asks for, from the one board you picked. noombat keeps one line per call (who, which app, which tool, when, how many rows, the outcome) for 13 months, never the question or the answer.
Revoke a connection or a key in Settings, API & AI apps; it stops at once. An organization admin can turn AI apps off for everyone.
