Get a key

A key is personal and belongs to one board. Sign in to noombat.ai, open Settings, then AI apps, pick the board and how long the key lives (30 or 90 days, or never where your organization allows it), and copy it: it is shown once. Up to five live keys per person per board; revoke any of them on the same page.

Quick start

Ask for your board at a glance, then for its companies in the order to work them. Every answer is JSON. The key goes in the Authorization header, never in the address.

• Pages of 20 rows by default, 50 at most; the next page is the same request with cursor=<next_cursor>.

Everything is generated from one operations catalog, so the page, the OpenAPI description and the guide for agents never disagree.

For agents

The public site is written for agents as much as for people. None of this needs a key.

• llms.txt: what noombat is, when to use it, how an agent calls it, and every public page
• llms-full.txt: the full text of the site in one document
• Markdown on every public page: send Accept: text/markdown to any page in the sitemap and it answers in Markdown (Content-Type: text/markdown, Vary: Accept); a browser keeps getting HTML at the same address
• Real 404s: an address that does not exist answers 404, in Markdown when asked for Markdown, with where to look instead
• sitemap.xml: every public page with the date it last changed

Try it before you have a key

There is no sandbox key yet. Two ways to see the data before you have a board:

• The demo: give noombat your website and it builds a board of up to ten companies in your market, free, on your own company
• The docs: every read on the API docs page carries an example answer from a made-up board, so code can be written against the shapes first

Limits, errors and versions

Per key or connection: 20 requests a second, 600 a minute, 100,000 a day. The limits in force are the ones each answer's RateLimit-Policy header names. Errors are RFC 9457 problem details (application/problem+json). Every read is read only, one board per key; nothing here writes to a board or to a CRM. Catalog version 2.0.0.
